 María Verónica Vargas Granja (1989) is an Ecuadorian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Ecuador 2011 and will represent her country in the 2011 Miss World pageant.

Vargas, who stands 1.75 m (5 ft 9 in) tall, competed as the representative of Guayas, one of 19 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Ecuador 2011, broadcast live on March 17, 2011 from Santo Domingo, where she obtained the Miss Photogenic award and became the eventual the 1st Runner-up, gaining the right to represent Ecuador in Miss World 2011.

Miss Ecuador 2011, the annual Miss Ecuador pageant, will be held on March 17, 2011 where Miss Ecuador 2010 Lady Mina will crown her successor. Candidates come from the different provinces of Ecuador.

The winner of Miss Ecuador will represent her country at Miss Universe 2011 and Miss Continente Americano 2011. Miss World Ecuador will participate in Miss World 2011, and Miss International Ecuador will represent Ecuador in Miss International 2011. The First Runner-up will be entering Miss Empresarial 2011 and the Second Runner-up will be entering Miss Atlantico Internacional 2012.
