Body painting, or sometimes bodypainting, is a form of body art. Unlike tattoo and other forms of body art, body painting is temporary, painted onto the human skin, and lasts for only several hours, or at most a couple of weeks.

Used by soldiers for camouflage, by tribal cultures as a form of social interaction, by football fans as a mean to support their team, body painting has even been featured in the annually Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
